This Privacy Policy explains how SkyZap Tools ("SkyZap", "we", "us") handles information when you use skyzap.xyz. We have tried to write it in plain English rather than boilerplate.

#The short version

Our calculators run entirely in your browser. Your loan balances, salary, client details, business metrics and every other number you type are never transmitted to us, because there is no server to receive them. The only data we handle is standard web analytics and advertising data, which you can refuse.

#1. Who we are

SkyZap Tools is the data controller for information collected through skyzap.xyz. Contact us about any privacy matter at hello@skyzap.xyz.

#2. Information we collect

Information you give us. Only if you email us. We hold that correspondence for as long as needed to resolve your query and up to 24 months afterwards.

Information collected automatically. When you visit, our hosting provider and analytics receive standard technical data: IP address, browser type and version, operating system, device type, referring URL, pages viewed, and timestamps.

Calculator inputs. These are processed locally by JavaScript on your device. Where a tool offers to remember your entries, it writes them to your browser's localStorage, which is readable only by your browser and never transmitted. Clearing your browser data deletes it permanently.

Advertising data. Our advertising partners may set cookies and read device identifiers to select and measure advertisements. See section 5.

We rely on legitimate interests for security, fraud prevention and aggregate analytics; consent for non-essential cookies, personalised advertising and any marketing email; and legal obligation where retention or disclosure is required by law. Where we rely on consent you may withdraw it at any time using the cookie controls, without affecting prior lawful processing.

#5. Advertising and cookies

SkyZap displays advertising through Google AdSense and its partners.

Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.
Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to our site and other sites on the internet.
You may opt out of personalised advertising through Google Ads Settings, or opt out of third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalised advertising at aboutads.info/choices.

For visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, we obtain consent for advertising and measurement cookies before they are set, in line with the Google EU user consent policy. Declining means you will still see advertising, but it will be non-personalised.

We do not sell personal information. We share it only with: hosting and CDN providers that serve the site; analytics providers; advertising partners as described above; and authorities where disclosure is legally required. Each processor acts under a written agreement.

#7. International transfers

Our providers may process data outside your country, including in the United States. Transfers out of the EEA or UK rely on adequacy decisions or Standard Contractual Clauses with supplementary safeguards.

#8. Retention

Server logs are retained for up to 30 days. Aggregate analytics are retained for up to 26 months. Email correspondence is retained for up to 24 months after the matter is closed.

#9. Your rights

Depending on where you live you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing of your personal data, to data portability, to withdraw consent, and to complain to a supervisory authority.

California residents (CCPA/CPRA) additionally have the right to know what is collected, to delete, to correct, to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, and not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights. We do not sell personal information for money; sharing with advertising partners for cross-context behavioural advertising may be treated as a "share", and you can opt out through the cookie banner. We honour Global Privacy Control signals.

#10. Children

SkyZap is not directed to children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has provided us with data, contact us and we will delete it.

#11. Security

We serve the site over TLS, apply security headers, and keep no database of user inputs — the strongest privacy protection available is not collecting the data in the first place.

#12. Changes

We will update this policy as our practices change and revise the date at the top. Material changes will be flagged prominently on the site before they take effect.
