The rules this site is built to follow, and the ways it can fall short of them.
#Sourcing
Every story on FilmPulse is derived from a report published elsewhere. We currently aggregate from Pinkvilla. The source outlet, the original headline and a direct link appear on every article, in the article body — not buried in a footer.
We do not present derived reporting as original reporting. Our structured data declares each article's source in isBasedOn and citation so that aggregators and search engines can see the relationship too.
#Rewriting
English copy is rewritten rather than copied. The rewrite must:
- carry only facts present in the source — no invented numbers, dates or names;
- keep direct quotations exactly as published, inside quotation marks;
- use its own sentence structures and its own opening;
- avoid promotional register, rhetorical questions and clickbait framing.
An automated check compares the published text against the source and rejects output that has simply substituted words rather than genuinely rewritten.
#Translation
Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam editions are machine-translated from our English version. They are labelled as translations. Where translation fails, the English text is shown rather than a broken page, and the article says so.
#Images
Photographs are reproduced from the source report, credited to it, and linked back to it. They remain the property of their copyright holders. We claim no ownership of any photograph on this site.

FilmPulse carries advertising, which is what pays for it. Advertisers have no involvement in what gets published. Ad units are labelled "Advertisement" and are never styled to resemble editorial content.
